These Terms and Conditions govern the Transform Your Space competition (“Competition”) conducted by SC Johnson & Son of South Africa Pty Ltd. (“Promoter”) as part of the Your Space. Your Moment. campaign.

Although the competition is executed by Hulisani Ravele Management Pty Ltd (“the Agency”), The promoter is SC Johnson & Son of South Africa Pty Ltd. (“the Promoter”)

By entering the Competition, entrants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

1.Competition Period

  • 1.1

    The Competition opens on 17 September 2026 and closes at 23:59 on 10 January 2027 (“Competition Period”).

  • 1.2

    Entries are open 24/7 during the competition period.

  • 1.3

    No entries submitted after the closing date and time will be accepted.

2.Who May Enter

  • 2.1

    The Competition is open to South African residents who are 18 years or older, in possession of a valid identity document, valid South African permit or valid South Africa passport, and reside in Gauteng, Limpopo or KwaZulu-Natal only.

  • 2.2

    The following persons may not enter:

    • 2.2.1

      employees of the Promoter;

    • 2.2.2

      directors, officers or agents of the Promoter;

    • 2.2.3

      employees of the Promoter’s advertising, promotional, fulfilment or competition agencies;

    • 2.2.4

      participating retailers and their employees;

    • 2.2.5

      the immediate family members of any of the above; and

    • 2.2.6

      any other person directly involved in the organisation or administration of the Competition.

  • 2.3

    The Promoter reserves the right to verify an entrant’s eligibility and proof of residence and/or identity.

3.How to Enter

  • 3.1

    To enter, an eligible entrant must, during the Competition Period:

    • 3.1.1

      purchase and Glade product from one of the participating stores: Checkers/Shoprite, Dischem, Pick ‘n Pay, Spar, Woolworths, Clicks

    • 3.1.2

      retain their proof of purchase/slip (“Proof of Purchase”);

    • 3.1.3

      the Proof of Purchase must clearly show the purchase of the qualifying Brand Product and the date of purchase.

    • 3.1.4

      upload a clear and legible copy or photograph of their Proof of Purchase through www.makeafricabloom.co.za;

    • 3.1.5

      and upload a picture or video of the room you’d love to change and the story behind it;

    • 3.1.6

      complete all required entry information and submit their entry.

  • 3.2

    Proof of Purchase must be retained by the entrant and may be requested by the Promoter for verification.

  • 3.3

    Incomplete, illegible, late, fraudulent, duplicated or otherwise invalid entries may be disqualified.

4.Competition Requirement

  • 4.1

    In addition to submitting a valid Proof of Purchase, entrants will be required to tell the Promoter about the room they would love to transform through www.makeafricabloom.co.za;

  • 4.2

    Entrants should submit their response to the following call to action: “Tell us about the room you’d love to change, and we could make it happen.”

  • 4.3

    Entries will be judged according to suitability for transformation and alignment with the campaign;

  • 4.4

    The Promoter’s judging decision will be final, and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the judging process or outcome, subject to applicable law.

5.Prize

  • 5.1

    The prize consists of a room transformation tailored to the winning room and its specific requirements. As every room differs in size, condition, layout and needs, the scope and components of the transformation may vary from one room to another.

  • 5.2

    The prize does not constitute a cash prize, a fixed monetary value, or an unlimited renovation. The extent of the transformation, including the products, services, furnishings, décor and/or improvements included, will be determined by the Promoters and its agencies based on the winning room and the overall scope of the transformation.

  • 5.3

    The Promoter reserves the right to determine the final scope and elements of the room transformation.

  • 5.4

    The Promoter reserves the right to substitute any element of the Prize with another prize of equal or greater value should circumstances outside its reasonable control make this necessary.

  • 5.5

    The Prize is not transferable and may not be exchanged for cash or any other alternative.

6.Winner Selection and Notification

  • 6.1

    Winner(s) will be selected per province between the following periods:

    • 6.1.1

      Gauteng - 17 September 2026 to 6 October 2026

    • 6.1.2

      Kwa-Zulu Natal - 17 September 2026 to 27 October 2026

    • 6.1.3

      Limpopo - 17 September 2026 to 12 January 2027

  • 6.2

    The winner(s) will be contacted using the contact details provided when entering the Competition.

  • 6.3

    If a winner cannot be contacted within one (1) working day of the first attempt to contact them, or if the winner fails to satisfy the eligibility or verification requirements, the Promoter reserves the right to select an alternative winner.

  • 6.4

    The winner will be disqualified and a runner up finalist will be deemed the potential prize winner, subject to the Terms and Conditions herein.

  • 6.5

    Failure to claim the Prize or a refusal or inability to produce/supply required documentation or comply with any of the competition requirements within 48 hours of request, we will disqualify the Winner, and a new Winner will be drawn in terms of these rules.

  • 6.6

    All winners will be required to complete a prize claim documentation and supply the following supporting document, valid identification document

  • 6.7

    No responsibility will be accepted for entries that are lost, delayed, corrupted, incomplete, incorrectly submitted or otherwise unable to be processed for any reason.

  • 6.8

    The Promoter may require the winner to provide reasonable proof of identity, age, residential address and Proof of Purchase before the Prize is awarded.

  • 6.9

    By entering this competition, the participant agrees that The Promoter reserves the right to use the images and/or videos taken of the winner, for publicity purposes in any manner they deem fit, without remuneration being made payable to the winner. Furthermore, the participants agree to being recorded (and to the subsequent release of such recordings for social, digital and other forms of uses).

7.Room Transformation

  • 7.1

    The winner acknowledges that the room transformation is subject to an assessment of the room and its suitability for the proposed transformation.

  • 7.2

    The Promoter reserves the right to determine whether the proposed room is suitable for transformation and whether any proposed work can reasonably be completed within the Prize value.

  • 7.3

    The winner must provide the Promoter and its appointed representatives with reasonable access to the relevant property and room for purposes connected with the Prize, including assessment, planning, delivery, installation, photography and/or filming, where applicable.

  • 7.4

    The winner is responsible for obtaining any necessary permission from the owner, landlord, body corporate, homeowners’ association or other relevant party before any work or installation takes place.

  • 7.5

    The Promoter will not be responsible for damage, loss or additional costs arising from pre-existing structural, electrical, plumbing or other defects that were not reasonably apparent before the transformation.

  • 7.6

    Once the transformation is completed and the winner confirms the redemption of the prize in writing, the winner will have no further claim against the Promoter or the Agency regarding the Prize.

8.General

  • 8.1

    The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who breaches these Terms and Conditions or who is suspected of engaging in fraudulent, dishonest or unfair conduct.

  • 8.2

    The Promoter reserves the right to cancel, suspend or amend the Competition where reasonably necessary due to circumstances beyond its control, subject to applicable law.

  • 8.3

    In the event that the competition period is extended, shortened, or suspended, participants will be notified by the Promoter through its execution and media partners thereof as soon as reasonably possible through a notice on its various communication channels. All participants who have received confirmation of a prize prior to any suspension or shortening of the competition will remain eligible to receive the prizes that have been awarded to them in accordance with these terms and conditions.

  • 8.4

    No participants shall have any recourse or claim against the Promoter as a result of:

    • 8.4.1

      any amendment to these terms and conditions

    • 8.4.2

      cancellation, termination or suspension of the competition in line with these terms and conditions and/or

    • 8.4.3

      the Promoter’s inability, despite attempts in line with these terms and conditions, to reach a participant.

  • 8.5

    The Promoter will not be liable for any failure of electronic communications, websites, networks or other systems beyond its reasonable control.

  • 8.6

    The Competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with any social media platform used to promote the Competition, unless expressly stated otherwise.

9.Personal Information

  • 9.1

    By entering the Competition, entrants consent to the Promoter collecting and processing their personal information for purposes reasonably necessary to administer the Competition, verify entries, contact entrants and award the Prize.

  • 9.2

    Personal information will be processed in accordance with the Promoter’s Privacy Policy and applicable South African data protection legislation. Please see SC Johnson’s privacy policy, available at https://privacy.scjbrands.com/en-za for contact information and further details.

10.Acceptance of Terms

  • 10.1

    By submitting an entry, the entrant confirms that they have read, understood and accepted these Terms and Conditions.

  • 10.2

    A copy of these Terms and Conditions will be available on www.makeafricabloom.co.za throughout the Competition Period.

11.Jurisdiction

  • 11.1

    The laws of the Republic of South Africa govern these Terms and Conditions and participants agree to be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts.

These Terms and Conditions govern the Heritage Day Transform Your Space competition ("Competition") conducted by SC Johnson & Son of South Africa Pty Ltd. ("Promoter") as part of the Your Space. Your Moment. campaign.

By entering the Competition, entrants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

1.Competition Period

  • 1.1

    The Competition opens on 24 September 2026 and closes at 23:59 on 27 September 2026 ("Competition Period").

  • 1.2

    Entries are open 24/7 during the competition period.

  • 1.3

    No entries submitted after the closing date and time will be accepted.

2.Who May Enter

  • 2.1

3.How to Enter

  • 3.1

    To enter, an eligible entrant must, during the Competition Period:

    • 3.1.1

      comment with an answer to the question asked on Liesl-Laurie Mthombeni and Natasha Vermaak (Joubert)’s call-to-action post on Instagram;

    • 3.1.2

      The competition question is: What part of your heritage lives on in your space today?

    • 3.1.3

      follow @glade_sa ‘s Instagram account to qualify

  • 3.2

    Incomplete, illegible, late, fraudulent, duplicated or otherwise invalid entries may be disqualified.

4.Competition Requirement

  • 4.1

    Entries will be judged according to suitability of response and alignment with the campaign;

  • 4.2

    The Promoter’s judging decision will be final, and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the judging process or outcome, subject to applicable law.

5.Prize

  • 5.1

    1 of 2 exclusive African Violet hampers, each with a shopping voucher to shop all your favourite Glade products

  • 5.2

    1 of 2 exclusive Zambezi Sunset hampers, each with a shopping voucher to shop all your favourite Glade products

  • 5.3

    The Promoter reserves the right to substitute any element of the Prize with another prize of equal or greater value should circumstances outside its reasonable control make this necessary.

  • 5.4

    The Prize is not transferable and may not be exchanged for cash or any other alternative.

6.Winner Selection and Notification

    Winner(s) will be selected on 28 September 2026.

  • 6.2

    The winner(s) will be contacted via Instagram DM.

  • 6.3

    If a winner cannot be contacted within one (2) working days of the first attempt to contact them, or if the winner fails to satisfy the eligibility or verification requirements, the Promoter reserves the right to select an alternative winner.

  • 6.4
